• Can I download as much as I want? Is there a credit system?

  You can download as much as you want provided you have the required subscription. Compare the plans above!
  
  Lots of other websites have some silly nickel-and-dime credit system, or worse, force you to pay 1$ or 2$ for rarely used and dubious content. We believe there should be no barriers to our craftsmanship. All you pay is your monthly subscription fee!
• Is it easy to change plans?

  Yes! Switching plans is quick and easy. You can upgrade or downgrade your subscription anytime through your account settings. Your changes will take effect immediately or at the start of your next billing cycle, depending on your selection. If you need help, our support team is always here for you! Please contact support!
• How do I know which subscription tier is right for me?

  If you are just in need of 3D content such as textures and 3D models, the free or the Friend plan is a great fit for you.
  
  But if you're looking for a closer relationship, HDRIs, learning techniques and insights from a team that has been producing content for 25 years, and you believe in our mission, the Partner or Benefactor plan is ideal!
• Do the 3D assets in my subscription tier have any usage limitations?

  All content is commercially usable on a project or product. The assets are not permitted to be resold on other websites, including but not limited to, Unity Asset Store, Fab, etc.
  
  While Matterfield is AI-friendly, all assets are not permitted to be used in neural network/AI training, or as part of an AI training regimen, without an agreement in place with Matterfield. You are permitted to use the assets as part of inferencing workflows. Please contact support!
• Is there a free trial available for Matterfield's subscription tiers?

  There are no free trials available, but our free tier has plenty of sample content so you can evaluate our quality and commitment.
• Can I purchase individual 3D assets without subscribing to a tier?

  Purchasing individual assets is not available. It's cheaper to pay a subscription!
• How do I cancel my subscription, and what happens to my assets afterward?

  You can cancel your subscription easily in your user profile dashboard. You will only have access to the content according to the tier you downgraded to.
• What is the difference between Rare and Legendary Assets?

  Rare assets are special 3d content that you won't find anywhere else (cultural artifacts, stylish furniture, etc). The quality and breadth of content sets us apart from other content sites.
  
  Legendary assets are objects, or other content, that has some very important cultural or historical significance. There may be a very interesting story behind the asset, and you can learn about that story on the asset's page. They may also be trademarked or copyrighted but permission has been obtained by us for commercial usage by our users. In this case, the page will have this information.
  
  Assets that are tagged with Rare or Legendary are only available with a paid subscription tier. HDRI assets (Common, Rare and Legendary) are only available in Partner and Benefactor plans.
• Do you offer plans which allow assets to be used for AI training?

  Yes. Matterfield is an AI-friendly company. We've had very successful relationships with companies in the past who required mass data capture and delivery of content. Please get in touch with Pete Sekula via LinkedIn.
• What are Revision and Variation Requests?

  This is a Benefactor-level feature where if one of our Models or Textures needs a variant, or a fix, we will accommodate that request and publish it on the site.
• Is your team for hire?

  Yes! We're a team that is production-focused and results-driven, aiming to be a natural extension of your team. We have photographers all over the world in key geographical areas whom we've trained and geared up with high end equipment. In addition, we rely heavily upon structured light scanners to produce accurate scans of man-made content at high speed.
